But earlier in the day there was thankfully no fighting between fiery couple Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez as they took a romantic stroll around the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas.
The on/off couple certainly have a temperamental relationship, though the pair kept their cool as they were flanked by boydguards whilst walking together.
Selena wore a bikini top and a jean shorts for the trip out, while Justin showed off his pecs.
Before heading out for the fight, Justin also posted an Instagram snap, of him at the Hard Rock Hotel, which he captioned, 'At the @HardRockHotelLV pool before heading over to see the Champ.'
He later took to his Shots account to share several photos backstage at the event as he posed with buddy Floyd.
Though while Justin was happy to take photos with his mate, he and his 22-year-old girlfriend went to great lengths not to be photographed together.
He did, however, hint that he and he was in the company of his long-time love in his earlier post, in which a brunette girl with her face turned away from the camera in seen behind him.
Meanwhile, on Friday, Selena and Justin stepped out separately in Los Angeles.
The cocky Canadian crooner - wearing a Chicago Bulls hat - clutched two beverages as he emerged from Shred Juice in West Hollywood.
The 20-year-old two-time Grammy nominee showcased his tattooed sleeves in a white T-shirt, lotus flower-printed shorts and red plimsolls.
Meanwhile, Selena was spotted heading into a recording studio while clad in a red, black and white striped crop-top, high-waisted jeans and Oxfords.
The Spring Breakers starlet hasn't released new music since her album Stars Dance, which dropped in July 2013.
According to E! News, Justin officially confirmed he was back with Gomez to attorney Mark DiCowden during a deposition on Thursday.
It was otherwise a 'pretty uneventful' follow-up to the troubled teen idol's notoriously bratty deposition back in March where he repeatedly warned the lawyer: 'Don't ask me about her again.'
DiCowden represents photographer Jeffrey Binion, who claims Bieber ordered his bodyguards to assault him outside a Miami recording studio in June 2013.
And though the Never Say Never hitmaker reached a plea deal for his January DUI arrest, he's still got two years of probation for his egg-throwing antics.
