5 #smartphones with biggest battery life

It’s shaping to be quite a year for smartphones. Faster processors, clearer displays, larger amounts of storage, larger cameras, superior multitasking capabilities, this year we have seen a lot of improvement in terms of technology.
However, such upgrades come with a caveat. Each new technology is still at the mercy of the phone's battery, a power source that can be really inefficient. In fact, one of the biggest complaints about smartphones is their short battery life. Why not? No one wants to charge their new cell phones every few hours.

In case you don't want to invest your money in smartphones offering really short battery juice then read on to find out the best options available:

#Lumia 720

This mid-range Windows Phone offers good battery life with its 2,000 mAh battery compared to other phones with a similar form factor. The 720 breezed through our complete battery suite which lasted 8 hours, and we still had 27 percent battery remaining. Now, that may not be much, but decent enough for a mid-range device. Read our complete review of the Lumia 720. It is available online for as low as Rs 17,500.

#Sony Xperia ZR

The Sony Xperia ZR packs a sizable 2300mAh removable battery in its body. So you can go on talking for 18 hours straight before its gets over or you can browse the web for 12 hours straight. In any case, this little ZR will give you more than enough battery life. This means the battery could last a day and even more, depending upon the usage.

Sony #Xperia Z1

The Xperia Z1 offers a massive 3,000mAh battery life. Sony gives you the access to the phone’s power management tools including Stamina mode to disable data when the screen is off and a low battery mode to conserve power when you have reached critical battery life levels.

On full charge and in general use playing games, browsing the web, and using Twitter and Facebook, you can get through a day comfortably. That's without tapping into the stamina and low battery modes. You can actually get a around a day and a half of proper use, if you are not using it excessively.

#Lenovo P780

The most prominent feature of Lenovo P780 is its super large battery at 4000mAh capacity. Lenovo also offers a power adapter cable that allows users to charge other Android phone with P780. The company claims Lenovo P780 smartphone (now with 8 GB memory) offers up to 43 hours of talktime and 35 days of active standby.

#Huawei Ascend Mate

The Huawei Ascend Mate has a giant battery life of 4,050mAh which is way higher than others. The Galaxy Note 2 has a 3,100mAh battery and the Galaxy S4 a comparatively piddly 2,600mAh unit. The reason for using such a big unit is obviously provide the stamina to power the 6.1-inch screen.

With default settings, the backlight is set high and its intensive use will see the battery drain down in a day. However, if you dim the ordinary brightness then you’ll get a solid day and a half, or two days with close management of your connections.
