Panic room for One Direction star Louis Tomlinson

Worry ... pop pin-up Louis Tomlinson and girlfriend Eleanor Calder
Star fears crazed stalkers

ONE Direction pin-up Louis Tomlinson has installed a high-security panic room at his mansion to protect him from crazed stalkers.

The star, 21, splashed out on the £15,000 safety measure — in which he could hide from intruders — after jealous fans’ death threats to girlfriend Eleanor Calder, 20.

A source close to the band said: “Louis loves the fans and isn’t overwhelmed with paranoia. He’s just a realist about the dangers of being in the spotlight.

“One Direction followers are notorious for tracking the lads down, so that’s made him a bit cautious.”

He also fears being targeted by thieves and kidnap gangs after last year’s foiled plot against pop pal Justin Bieber. The source added: “This is just something that makes him feel safe.”

Louis, who has a £2.5million Hertfordshire pad, is not the only One Direction star concerned over security. Zayn Malik, 20, has a £2million North London home with a panic room.

The boyband have seen their girlfriends face sickening death threats. Caroline Flack, 33, was targeted for dating Harry Styles, 19. Liam Payne, 19, tweeted his fury at threats to girlfriend Danielle Peazer, 24.

After trolls sent Eleanor snaps of Louis’s ex Hannah Walker, he hit back: “I’m reading some horrible tweets — very p***** off!” Zayn even quit Twitter for a while.

But band pal Niall Horan, 19, insisted: “It’s only brave girls behind a computer, thinking they can say what they want. Other celebrities get freaked out about death threats. I’m carefree about it.”
