Demi Lovato tells Simon Cowell 'You're an asshole!'

Turning the air blue: Demi called the X Factor boss an ***hole live on television

They are known for their feisty back and forths on the X Factor USA, and he even once called her a 'brat'.
And it was no different on the Conan O'Brien show on Monday night when both Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato appeared on the late night talk program.

During their interview, the fiery 19-year-old Disney star even called Cowell an '***hole' on live television.

It all started when host Conan asked Demi for her opinion on Simon's obligatory tight white T-shirts.

The singer and actress used the opportunity to make a light-hearted joke about the 52-year-old's 'man cleavage'.

'We're trying to reach a younger demographic, and I don't feel we're going to accomplish that when he's showing more cleavage than Britney [Spears] and I are,' she said.

Simon told Demi that the best solution to the problem would be for her and Britney to show more cleavage, to which Demi replied: 'I'm good. Thank you!'

The acid-tongued TV mogul then insisted that his T-shirt was protecting his modesty, but Demi wouldn't let up with her verbal tongue lashing.

'I'm surprised, because normally you could braid your chest hair,' she said.

Simon then pleaded with Conan for an intervention: 'Tell her to stop picking on me, please,' he whined.

'Don't pick on him! He's a kind man who's NEVER insulted anyone!' Conan said in a sarcastic tone.

The talk show host them went on the ask Simon why he often refers to Demi as 'annoying'.

The Syco boss then turned to Demi and asked: 'You are very annoying. How's that?'

It was then when Demi let loose on Cowell with her answer.

'How's that? You can be a bit of an asshole! How's that?' she said on the live airwaves.

Simon may have a reputation of being Mr Nasty, but lately he has been more like Mr Naughty in his recent late night TV interviews.
