One Direction performance at Olympic closing ceremony will have fans screaming

One Direction is expected to take the stage at the Olympic closing ceremony. The Mirror, a UK newspaper, has exclusively confirmed on Sunday that Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will join musical legends like The Who, Take That, Queen and a reunion of the Spice Girls during the final extravaganza reflecting on English culture.

While many musical artists have been batted around for the closing ceremony, the idea that the young boy band could be on stage with serious musicians has fans giggling. Of course the X Factor band is an overnight sensation. Yes, One Direction has a number one radio hit too, but isn’t it premature to put five guys in front of the world and imply the group is comparable to the Spice Girls or Queen?

Either way grab a pair of earplugs (for the girls screaming not the performance cause that wouldn't be polite) as when the band hits the stage it will be insanity as nobody is going to sit quietly and listen. One Direction caters to the younger crowd and everyone had better be ready as this isn't the typical crowd the band Queen attracts.
