Emma Watson not in talks for 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie

Despite swirling rumors, "Harry Potter" star Emma Watson says she isn't planning to play Anastasia Steele in an adaptation of the raunchy book "Fifty Shades of Grey," according to an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Since Universal Pictures and Focus Features won the screen rights to the bestseller in March and the Oscar-nominated producers of "The Social Network" signed on for the film earlier this month, speculation has run high about who should play the central female character. Watson is just one of numerous young actresses rumored to be cast, joining Katie Cassidy, Amanda Seyfried, and Kristen Stewart, among others. Of course, as Watson noted, nothing is imminent and no one has reached out to her.

“I haven’t read the book, I haven’t a read a script, nothing. There are so many movies you become attached to when I’ve literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' – I never even saw a script!”
Who would you like to see in the film? Would Watson be a good choice or is there someone better?
