Zosia Mamet, Jemima Kirke, Lena Dunham, and Allison Williams attend the premiere of HBO's "Girls" at the School of Visual Arts Theater on April 4, 2012 in New York City. |
There wasn't anything intimate about HBO's "Girls" premiere.
Following the SVA Theater screening Wednesday of the series' first three episodes, guests crammed into the Top of the Standard, featuring spectacular panoramic views of Gotham.
Dunham, who stayed safe from the fray in one of venue's numerous VIP lounges, stuck close to Bravo's Brad Goreski and co-stars Jemima Kirke and Allison Williams, daughter of NBC's Brian Williams.
Exec producer Judd Apatow and wife Leslie Mann soaked in praise for "Girls" in a private lounge not far from Dunham's.
"She likes creating things and she's always in a good mood," Apatow said. "I've never worked with people who are in a good mood before."
