Lollapalooza: Full 2012 Lineup Revealed (2 PICS)

Lollapalooza 2012 lineup announced, and it's a good one
Finally! The Lollapalooza 2012 lineup has been revealed for the upcoming Chicago, IL concert.

Among the acts scheduled to appear are Red Hot Chili Peppers, freshly reunited bandsBlack Sabbath and At the Drive-In, the Black Keys, Jack White, Florence + The Machine, the Shins and Passion Pit, plus spotlighted electronic music including Swedish house titan Avicii, French dance duo Justice and DJ-producer Bassnectar.

“Every year it’s kind of a nail biter putting a lineup together,” Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell said in an interview. “There were moments when I looked at it and I was beside myself. I didn’t know what to do.”

But with the final list also including acts such as Black Sabbath, Jack White and Sigur Ros, “that lineup is just going to be so exciting and it’s so diverse. I think it works so well,” Farrell said.
The festival in Chicago’s sprawling Grant Park begins Aug. 3.

Previous acts who have been a part of the Lollapalooza festival include Lady Gaga and Foo Fighters, as well as rappers Eminem and Kanye West.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are scheduled to appear at this year's Lollapalooza.
All in all, Lolla 2012 features more than 130 bands. Three-day passes for the fest are now on sale, and a limited number of single-day tickets will go on sale later this summer.

Judging from this year’s bands and DJs I bet this is going to be one heck of a festival  . Don’t you?
