Lady Gaga's Concert Being Protested By S. Korea Christians (8 PICS)


A South Korean Protestant church group is accusing pop singer Lady Gaga of "spreading an unhealthy sexual culture".

Lady Gaga will be met with hundredss of christian protesters as the hitmaker prepares for her concert in Seoul, S. Korea. The group is protesting the singer for advocating homosexuality and pornography.

Gaga arrived in the country on Friday, a full week before her concert is set to kick off the “Born This Way Ball Global Tour.”

Nearly 300 Protestant protesters are expected to gather in downtown Seoul to hold a peaceful prayer session. The event organizer tells AFP:

“We will pray to God that the concert will not be realised so that homosexuality and pornography will not spread around the country.”

The grou is being led by the Alliance for Sound Culture In Sexuality however other groups are also expected to join in the protest.

The Korean Association of Church Communication, a hate group in S. Korea promised in March to create a “concerted action to stop young people from being infected with homosexuality and pornography.”




Following in the arrival of Lady Gaga the group claims she is “spreading unhealthy sexual culture” through “lewd lyrics and performances.”

In a country where concert performances are rated just like movies are given labels by the MPAA in America, fans under the age of 18 have been banned from the Lady Gaga show after it was rated unsuitable for younger audiences. Gaga was almost given an age rating of 12 and older until the Korea Media Rating Board adjusted its ruling.

After performing in Seoul, S. Korea Lady Gaga will head onto Hong Kong, Japan, the Philippines and then finally 21 European cities.

Lady Gaga is touring the world in celebration of her Born This Way album which has sold over 6 million records worldwide.
