Emma Watson Goes to Jail (27 PICS)

Emma Watson is a long way from Hogwarts.

The Harry Potter actress was spotted outside the women's detention facility in Lynwood, Calif., on Monday. You know, the same place that briefly housed the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan.

Uh-oh, is the 21-year-old in some sort of trouble?

Fortunately, no. Watson was merely shooting a scene for the upcoming Sofia Coppola-directed film Bling Ring, along with costars Leslie Mann, Taissa Farmiga and Maika Dillon Monroe.

The movie revolves around the infamous group of L.A. teenagers (including former E! reality star Alexis Neiers) who made headlines not too long ago for burglarizing the homes of celebs including Hilton and Lohan.

But not Watson's.

Because that would just be weird.

Watson seemed unintimidated by the gritty surroundings, and was laughing and joking with co-stars. Of course, she wasn't inside the jail at the time.

"Filming Bling Ring is going great. As Israel would say 'we are slaying this!'. Thanks for the good luck messages," Watson tweeted recently.

The Harry Potter star was also photographed the previous day, sporting too short shorts with a friend in Los Angeles.

The pic shows Emma with costars Leslie Mann, who plays her mom along with American Horror Story's Taissa Farmiga and Maika Monroe, who play her sisters.

The movie is slated for a 2013 release and we gotta admit, we're getting more and more intrigued the more shots we see!!
