Hundreds of bakers wearing chefs' hats protested outside Downing Street in London, England on Apr. 26 against the government's plan to introduce a "pasty tax".

Hundreds of British bakers wearing chefs hats and carrying placards converged on Prime Minister David Cameron's official residence on Thursday to say his plan for higher sales tax on their products was half baked.

Hundreds of bakers wearing chefs' hats protested outside Downing Street in London, England on Apr. 26 against the government's plan to introduce a "pasty tax". Carrying pasties and wearing white T-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "SOS - save our savouries," the protesters delivered a petition signed by half a million people opposing the tax announced in this year's budget.
