Nickelback keeps rolling out more and more dates for their upcoming 2012 summer tour and the band has now revealed a series of concerts that will include sets with another esteemed rock group: Bush.
A total of nine Nickelback show dates with Bush have been revealed, all of which will go down in July, starting with a show at Hershey Park Stadium in Hershey, PA on July 14th. Nickelback and Bush will continue together for shows in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Saratoga Springs, Darien Center, Charlotte, Virginia Beach and Raleigh. The July 30th concert at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC is the last scheduled tour date that will include Bush.
Bush's inclusion in Nickelback's 2012 summer tour is being done so in part to promote the band's new album, 'The Sea of Memories', which hit store shelves back in September of 2011. 'The Sea of Memories', Bush's fifth studio LP, was the band's first album in roughly a decade, with their fourth studio record, 'Golden State', debuting in 2001. The album was the first to include Chris Traynor and Corey Britz, who replaced Nigel Pulsford and Dave Parsons, and spawned a No.1 radio single, "The Sound of Winter."
'The Sea of Memories' sold more than 20,000 copies in the U.S. during its first week of release and hit the No.18 spot on the Billboard 200 chart and No.5 on the Top Independent Albums and the Top Modern Rock/Alternative Albums charts, respectively.
