Michelle Obama Wears Marchesa To State Dinner While Designer Is Present

The fashionable First Lady looked exquisite wearing a gorgeous gown crafted by the British-born American designer Georgina Chapman, who was in attendance at the State Dinner last night!

Michelle Obama knows how to get glam just like some of our favorite a-listers, and she didn’t disappoint at a White House state dinner honoring the British prime minister and his wife, David and Samantha Cameron. The First Lady was very much an elegant host in her exquisite Marchesa gown — and the designer was there herself to take it all in first hand, having no idea that Michelle would we wearing one of her dresses!

The draped column gown fit Michelle’s figure perfectly — it’s easily one of my favorite looks that we’ve seen on the First Lady! She took the get-up a step further, accessorizing with an exquisite necklace. Due to my personal obsession with Marchesa dresses I might be biased, but I would love to see the fashionable First Lady wear more of Georgina’s designs!

What do you think of Michelle’s latest look?
