After sneaking a glimpse of the dresses more than seven months ago, shoppers can finally get their hands on Victoria Beckham’s new fashion line, as it lands in Harvey Nichols.
To celebrate the launch, the Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer has teamed up with fashion illustrator and filmmaker Quentin Jones on an installation in the windows. The duo has taken the cat and moon motifs, plus the scalloped prints featured on the clothes to dress up the windows of the shop, plus installed mini TV screens into the walls so passers-by can take a peek at a video of the collection.
The cat theme doesn’t end there. Pop up to the first floor of the store and you’ll find some of the mannequins modelling the line have cat heads too.
So, what can shoppers expect from the range? The dresses collection, which will also be sold online at Net-a-Porter, is inspired by the angst-ridden cartoon character Emily the Strange, with an all-together more colourful, more girly and '60s-inspired feel, which is more affordable than the main line (prices start from around £395).
