Hudgens and ex step out at premiere

Vanessa Hudgens and ex-boyfriend Josh Hutcherson have reunited - for the premiere of their new movie.

The pair started going out after meeting on the set of their new film Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, but broke up last year.

They joined forces for the action flick's Sydney premiere, where Josh recounted an awkward interview they'd had earlier that day.

He told Sydney Confidential: "Yeah, it was funny. They asked us how long we have been going out and we were like... 'we're not dating'.

"It's OK though. It was a little awkward. But it's fine."

Vanessa, who wore a full-length red dress with silver fringing to the premiere, has gone on to date actor Austin Butler.
